Collaborate

Good questions bring people together.

We welcome research conversations with universities, research organisations, governments, industry, civil society, communities and development organisations.

Ways to work together

Potential areas for collaboration include joint research, grant applications, research networks, training and mentorship, events, publications, evidence reviews and commissioned research aligned with the Centre’s objects.

A shared purpose

Helvia’s memorandum provides for academic and strategic collaboration locally and globally. We seek relationships that advance knowledge and deliver public benefit while respecting the context and expertise of those involved.

Clear responsibilities

Collaborations should establish roles, scope, methods, funding arrangements and expectations from the outset. Agreements should address academic independence, authorship, data responsibilities, publication rights and conflicts of interest.

Start a conversation

Tell us the question or challenge, the organisations involved, the proposed contribution and any relevant timescale. An initial enquiry does not commit either party to a project or funding arrangement.
